What does the display or indicator light show?
- Clock flashing: The clock needs to be set. This happens when the oven is first turned on or after a power cut. The oven will not heat until the clock is set.
- Temperature indicator lit: The oven is preheating. The light stays on while the oven heats up to the temperature you set.
- Cooking time indicator lit: Automatic cooking time is set. This light shows the oven has a cooking time programmed for automatic cooking.
- Automatic cooking stop indicator (A) lit: An automatic stop time is set. This light shows the oven is set to turn off automatically at a chosen time.
- Timer beeping, timer indicator flashing: The timer countdown has finished. The oven beeps every 7 seconds and the timer indicator flashes until you stop it. Note the timer does not turn the oven off.
- Cooking time and stop time (A) indicators flashing, oven beeping: Automatic cooking has finished. When the stop time is reached the oven turns off by itself and beeps every 7 seconds until you exit.
Common problems
The oven doesn't turn on
- Is there power to the oven? Check the wall switch is on, the fuse has not tripped, and there is no power outage in your area.
- Has the clock been set? The oven will not work at all until the clock has been set.
The oven light won't come on
- Has the clock been set? The oven, and its light, will not work until the clock is set.
- Has the light bulb blown? Replace the bulb using the care and cleaning instructions.
The oven isn't heating properly
- Are you opening the door too often during cooking? Opening the door often during cooking lets heat escape. Keep the door closed and open it as little as possible.
- Has the clock been set? The oven will not heat at all until the clock has been set.
The fan keeps running after I turn the oven off
- Did the fan turn back on a few minutes after you switched the oven off? This is normal. If the oven is still above a certain temperature the cooling fan comes on by itself to cool it down.
- Did you set a delayed start with automatic cooking? The fan running before the start time is normal. The oven itself will not heat up until the start time you set is reached.
