Common problems
Dishes are coming out dirty
- Is the filter clean and correctly fitted? A dirty or wrongly fitted filter stops dishes getting clean. Clean and refit it.
- Did you scrape off food scraps before loading? Excess food left on dishware can cause a poor wash. Remove food scraps before loading.
- Are the spray arm holes blocked? Blocked holes stop water reaching all the dishes. Clean the spray arm.
- Is your water hard? Hard water can leave spots and film on dishes. Increase the rinse aid setting and the amount of detergent used.
The drawer won't start or won't open
- Is KEYLOCK turned on? When the control panel is locked the drawer will not open or start. Turn KEYLOCK off.
- Is the closed drawer auto lock active? Knock once on the door and open the drawer within 30 seconds.
- Is the power supply connected? Connect the power supply if it isn't plugged in.
- Did you close the drawer within 7 seconds of pressing start? Open the drawer, press start again, and close the drawer within 7 seconds.
Water is leaking, pooling, or not draining
- Is the drain hose disconnected from the waste pipe? Reconnect the drain hose to the waste pipe.
- Is the water inlet hose connected correctly? Make sure the inlet hose is connected securely.
- Are the drain hoses bent or is a filter blocked? Straighten any bent drain hoses and clean blocked filters.
- Is it just condensation on the inner rim? This is normal after a wash. Simply wipe it dry.
There is foam or suds in the tub
- Are you using the correct detergent? Incorrect detergent use can cause foaming. Follow the Detergent section's guidance.
- Was egg left on the plates? Rinse excess egg off dishes before loading to reduce foaming.
- Is the rinse aid setting too high? Decrease the rinse aid setting if foaming continues.
- Is foam still there at the end of the wash? If the drawer is still filled with foam at the end of the wash program, contact Customer Care.
