Answers and step-by-step fixes from the official Fisher & Paykel manual.
What does the display say?
- A1: Water supply problem. The dishwasher cannot get enough water, usually because the water supply is turned off.
- A3: Drawer cannot drain. The drain hose or its connection to the drainage pipe is blocked or kinked.
- A6: Spray arm or water pressure problem. The spray arm has come loose from its mounting, or the water pressure is too low.
- A7: Too much foam detected. The dishwasher has detected excess foam and is running an automatic recovery program.
- A09: Sanitize temperature not reached. The sanitize cycle did not reach the temperature needed to sanitize the dishes.
- F (any number): A fault has been detected. An F code means the dishwasher has a fault that may be cleared by resetting it.
- Salt indicator red: Salt reservoir is low. A red salt indicator means the salt reservoir needs filling.
- Rinse aid indicator red: Rinse aid is low. A bright red rinse aid indicator means it is time to refill the rinse aid.
