Breville Juice Fountain BJE200
Answers and step-by-step fixes from the official Breville manual.
Common problems
Motor stalls or juicer is loud when running
- Are you pushing food down too fast? Juicing too vigorously lets wet pulp build up under the cover, which can stall the motor.
- Is the Nutri Disc locked properly into place? A loose Nutri Disc causes a loud noise. Turn off, unplug, take the juicer apart, and put it back together.
Not much juice comes out, or the juice is watery
- Are you pushing the pusher down slowly? A slower pushing action extracts more juice from the fruit or vegetables.
- Is the Nutri Disc mesh clogged? Remove the Nutri Disc, scrub the mesh walls with the nylon brush and rinse under hot water to clear it.
- Are the mesh holes still blocked after brushing? Soak the Nutri Disc in hot water with 10% lemon juice to unblock the holes, or wash it in the dishwasher.
- Is the spout blocked with pulp? Check the spout for blocked pulp if no juice is coming out at all.
Juice leaks or sprays out messily, or pulp builds up fast
- Is juice leaking between the cover and the rim? Slow down how fast you push food through the chute.
- Is juice spraying out of the spout? Slow down the juicing action to reduce spray from the spout.
- Is pulp piling up fast inside the Nutri Disc? Stop juicing, remove the cover, scrape off the pulp, reassemble, and try alternating soft and hard produce.
