Which alarm is showing on the display?
- Door open alarm (buzzer and blinking light): A door has been left open. The refrigerator door has been open for too long and the appliance is warning you to close it.
- A1: Freezer is too warm. A1 shows on the freezer display instead of the temperature, meaning the freezer is too warm but food can still be eaten soon or refrozen after cooking.
- A2: Freezer is dangerously warm. A2 shows on the freezer display instead of the temperature, meaning the food inside is no longer safe to eat.
Common problems
The appliance is not working at all
- Is the power cable plugged into a live socket with the right voltage? Check the plug is fully in and the socket is working.
- Have the fuses or protection devices at home tripped? Check the fuses and protection devices on the electrical system in your home.
The inside of the appliance is too warm
- Is the condenser at the back clean? Make sure dust and fluff are not covering the condenser on the back of the appliance.
- Is the door closing all the way? Check that the door is shutting properly.
- Are the door seals fitted correctly? Check the door seals are properly in place all the way round.
- Has the door been left open or has a lot of food just been added? After the door was left open or large amounts of food were stored, the motor runs longer to bring the temperature back down, which is normal.

The door does not open or close properly
- Is a food package blocking the door? Check that nothing stored inside is blocking the door from closing.
- Are the internal parts out of position? Check that shelves, drawers or the ice maker are not out of place and blocking the door.
